spacesaver

Thanks for all the feedback, it's good (and was expected) that most people would not purchase a car without a spare wheel.  I fully agree and if I bought it from a main dealer new or used, I would have walked away if they did not provide one.  However, it was a private sale and the price I bought it for reflected the ommition of a spare of any kind.

I also agree that a full sized spare is better than a space saver, however I did have a proper full sized spare and was fed up with it taking up all the space in the boot, so I sold it many years ago !!! I should have kept it and stuck it in my garage and whacked it in the boot when going on long journeys !!!

So I'll pursue the space saver option I think !!

Cheers

Whoops,I only wanted a spare wheel, didnt realise it would cause this much comment.:biggrin::biggrin:

Also you may notice i have bought one that may get engine problems. Not sure if I should trade for something else or wait and see if it goes wrong or just get engine done.

I think I would drive away at ur jeep and not worry bout problem's that may never arise. I'm sure it is a lovely motor and good luck with it.
