so i got my first pit mark in the windscreen today and in the bottom right of the windscreen on drivers side, which got me thinking, if i ever needed a windscreen replaced how is the tss and auto wiper module next to the rear view mirror attached to the windscreen? are there special connectors built into the new windscreen that they just slide onto or are they just stuck on ?

thanks guys

I assume the Toyota is the same as my Golf (that has been very unlucky of late, needing 3 screens in 15 months) the new screen comes with a connector / bracket / sticky pad already attached and the wiper/lighting gizmo just clips onto the new sticky pad.

thanks for the reply, that is good to know it isnt just stuck on,     sorry to hear you had that many windscreens that sounds like a nightmare, i have only had one replaced years ago on a seat ibiza and you couldnt tell the difference apart from the maker logo but i have had lots of pit marks especially on my honda jazz with its small bonnet
