Fitting door hinges

Hi everyone,

                     I`ve posted before about my sagging drivers door, I`ve now managed to get two hinges. Do I have to remove the  wing to get access to the hinges? Seems like it, and it also seems like more of a job than I had anticipated :(  Does any have any tips to make it as easy as possible please?

Is it a t25? If so no you don't have to remove wings 😊

From what I remember with Mk1 Avensis, you may have to remove the front wings to get at the hinge bolts. This is especially for the lower hinge. The condition of the lower wing bolts could be corroded, making it difficult to remove the wing.  If there is a specially designed spanner that allows access the  hinge bolts, that may save the day.
