Hey guys recently i bought the Toyota Avensis t25 1.8 from 2005. Last user said that he do not remmember when did his last car inspeciton. So i want to change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and flush the coolant. Here problem starts. I didnt get the owners manual so i was forced to look in the web site but didnt find nothing. Here is the question what coolant do i need?????  What oil, oil filter, fuel filter and coolant do i need. I think that the coolant is x-stream g30. I really need help. Thanks for replay. :(

Fuel filter on the petrol versions is inside the fuel tank and doesn't get changed. Change the oil and filter, and check/change the air filter, alternator belt and spark plugs. It should have long life coolant in it - if it's a nice red/pink colour leave it alone.

Go to the Eurocarparts (ECP)website and you can get the info and part prices for your car. They are doing 56% discount code EGG56 when you order on-line - order then collect and pay.

The oil will be 5w-30 and capacity is just under 4 litres, the oil filter is already a good price, as is the air and cabin/pollen filters. Coolant capacity is roughly 5.6 litres ( say roughly based on the earlier Mk1 1.8 1ZZ. I used premixed coolant and colour depends on individual choice - usually red. I would go for Denso sparkplugs - K16R-U11 ECP part no. 408775770.

One question. Is your car the facelift with the indicator repeaters on the with mirror, or the earlier version with the repeaters on the front wings? The reason I say this, is because the earlier version of 1ZZ had a high oil consumption. Modified engines were introduced mid/late 2005 production run. Not all pre face lift Avensis 1ZZ had high oil consumption, but a few did, so keep an eye on the oil level. Apart from not getting the handbook/manual, did you get spare keys - total of two black remote and one grey valet key, and any paperwork for the car?
