Hello everyone

I recently bought a 2006 toyota corolla station d4d diesel (obviously) automatic with 245000km. I live in Athens, Greece. I am extremely happy with this purchase. Recently had some vacuum issues in and around the turbo. All is well. I drive 700+ km on about 40 litres of diesel fuel.

My topic of discussion is: I would deeply apreciate any and all hints and tips concerning my d4d. Any tricks for better understanding the engine. Anything that would give me better mileage, life span and generally a better engine.

I would espacially apreciate information on better understanding the automatic gearbox and how to drive it properly.
