Belts

I'm going to give the car a good service with handbrake shoes;new plugs gearbox oil and general servicing.I'm also looking to do the belts (not timing).what do I need for these is it 2 belts or 1 to do the steering and alternator etc.europarts are showing 3-4?types.1cd-ftv with AC

Hi Frank,

I did a little check and looked at ECP, Continental and Gates. The results are very confusing?!  

Continental belt - 5PK1250 with A/C as shown on ECP and Continental catalogue 1CD-FTV and 5PK884 for alternator. 

Gates  - 5PK1250  !CD-FTV with A/C and 5PK885 for alternator.

There is another belt with A/C 5PK1180 for the earlier version of the 1CD-FTV engine (MK1 Avensis). Ignore that.

At least you can take it back to ECP if wrong.

Cheers konrad.yeah I was confused with all the results of these.ecp has a good sale  on I will get them from there and as you say I can return it if wrong.
