Do you lose anything by removing the Battery on a 2013 Auris 1.6 petrol, just want to take it off to give it a charge. Thanks.

Hi on my previous times when removing batteries make sure you have radio security codes if needed and look in your manual on how to reset the clock . And just remember remove negative Battery terminal first and when refitting fit positive first and clean terminals with a wire brush or fine emery paper .

Can't speak for a 2013 but on my 2011 (same engine I think) the radio is fine. The ECU needs to relearn idle speed but that's happens pretty quickly.

Lose trip meter readings too.
