My first car was a rover 100 metro thingy! (wish i was getting the fuel return on that now!)...

The local dealer got a sunroof fitted to it at a later date for me, it was originally a total tin top.

Question is, can this be done to the '2'???

Any suggestions?

My mate has an eletric sunroof and it's got little roller blinds too .. it looks bigger than the stock one too ..

It's in a Jap Yellow NA .. looks class.

i guess you could find a uk sunroof model at a scrappys, chop roof out, take it to a bodyshop get it welded in, would be the cheapest way by far I'd assume.

I was thinkin about a t-bar conversion, any ideas who may be able to do this?, im sure it wouldnt b cheap though.

Would there be chassis strenghthening problems with a T bar conversion?

Posted

Yes there would, a t-bar has a strengthened chassis, which is why it weight a little more than the coupe. It might be possible, but I suspect it would cost a lot. It would be far cheaper to sell your car and buy a t-bar instead.
