Disable alarm

Hi all,

            can someone please tell me how to disable the factory alarm system, the actual alarm does not sound but the hazard warning lights keep blinking. It`s ruining an otherwise great car. If I open the boot the blinkers come on, if I lift the bonnet the blinkers come on, if I open thee drivers door and proceed to drive off the blinkers are still blinking !! The red light located over the central fresh air vents is on all the time, ie it is not flashing.

  I had this problem a few weeks ago but then it seemed to cure itself but now it` s back with a vengeance.

I`ve noticed that if I pull the hazard warning fuse, the red light above the central fresh air vents goes out. I know it`s not ideal but this could solve the blinking problem at least temporarily.
