Battery warning light

Can anyone help...the Battery warning light on my 2005 Aygo 1.0 isn't coming on with the ignition on.. is there a fuse that feeds this, or a bulb that can be replaced? Or is this an ecu fault?

Could be wrong, but I think the light not illuminating with ignition on and engine not running, indicates a charging circuit/alternator problem.

The alternator has been replaced and tests at the Battery show that it is charging.. but with the light not working at all, I can't tell if this changes...
