Is the Prius good for motorway bashing

I hope I'm not upsetting anyone but this topic has gone on & on & it seems to me that whatever has been posted, Whitton Race just isn't really interested in the Prius really. For that reason I'm stopping notifications of this particular topic because quite frankly it's filling up my email inbox!

While I commend their attempt at a hybrid, the use of the 6-speed DCT is just absolutely mind-boggling. VW have done the same thing in the Golf, and inexplicably, so have Lexus in the RC!!!!

It adds weight and complexity where it shouldn't be. I don't understand.

Power mode on the motorway. My 2016 Prius did 25,000 a year without dropping below 70mpg. EV mode kicks in once speed achieved to maintain the momentum at 70mph. Cruising at 56 is pointless tbh.

Welcome. Although that was my 2016 model D. Lockdown has restricted my mileage on the 2019 facelift. Which is slightly better mpg.
