Is it illegal to do away with the CAT and just have a new exhaust system and if this can be done do you have to make alterations to the Engine Management system? cheers Jim

List price for a new cat too steep?

Many thanks for the link gazza1286, it was an eye opener I had been quoted about £600 for the full system with the Cat, this is what put me off, but it looks like I can get a Cat for about £100 so I will do that Cheers Jim
