Windows wont wind up with keyfob, normal?

All the cars ive owned before had the option to wind up and left open windows remotely after locking the car, but for some reason my Auris doesnt let me do that, in fact, i can't even reach into the car and press the power button to allow me to close the window, i have to start the hybrid system by jumping back into the seat and putting my foot on the brake.

This is really anoying as i often forget to close windows when parked at home, and i usually lock and close the window from my house remotely.

Is this normal or i there a setting somewhere to activate remote window closing?

It doesn't have that feature IIRC.

On recent Toyotas we've owned you can operate the electric windows for a period after switching off the ignition, IIRC 30 secs.  The function disables if you open the drivers door.

oh thats a shame that the keyfob can't close the windows, this is something else im going to have to get used to.

Funning how upgrading a car to new features such as hybrid, reverse camera, IPS etc. often also means downgrading other features that we've become used to having.

The feature is 'global opening/closing' - no UK market Auris either has it or has had it
