Lowering a T27 Avensis

I bought an Avensis a month ago, and just like my other cars, I can't keep it stock for long. I installed some 18" Work VS SS wheels, but now the car looks high. What brands do you recommend to lower the car. I'm looking for a mild drop since the car is still a daily driver. Is there an online manuel how to replace the springs. I could find some for the T25, but not for the T27.

Help is apreciated.

The T27 front suspension is fairly similar to the T25, with some component differences. here are diagrams for comparison:-

The T27 front strut.

The T25 front strut.

The rear suspension between the two is totally different. The T27 has separate spring and damper.

The T27 rear suspension, should be quicker/easier to work on.

The Avensis image in the UK means it is not one for modifying, plus speed bumps makes lowering difficult. Air ride is now the latest thing.

I have contacted somebody on Facebook who has lowered a T27 Tourer. His name is also Hans and is from Belgium. I asked him for permission to show his car on here, and linked him to your post. Hopefully he will respond.

Just realised. That Facebook post is you! :hammer:

Anyway just do what you think is right. The photo is yours I presume.

If my car was lowered like this, I would have issues with the speed bumps. I would need air ride.

Thanks for the links Konrad. I see you already found me on facebook. It's my own picture. Not many Avensis T27's on Works.
