How to turn over engine with push button start?

Hi all, I have a 2006 Rav4 T180 (UK) which had an injector seal issue. I've got the injector out and managed to remove the copper washer that was wedged solid at the bottom of the injector port. I had to drill it out and cleaned up the injector seat too. Now there's debris in the cylinder. I've managed to vacuum much of it out but wanted to crank it once or twice to puff what's left out. I have the EFI MAIN 20A fuse out (I pulled the fuse with the engine running so that it would releave the fuel pressure) but when I press the start button to turn the engine over, nothing happens, even with foot on the clutch.

I still have the fuel hoses off and injector out so don't want high pressure fuel spraying everywhere. Should I replace this fuse and remove another? I would just like to get the cylinder properly cleaned out.

Thanks for any advice

Glen

If I remove the connector on top of the fuel pump and then replace the fuse, I guess the circuit might allow the engine to start but without fuel?
