No power below 3000 revs D4D

So, I thought it just hated non premium fuel but it looks like after a tank of Shell V-power the fuel was either rubbish or ive got a bigger issue

I filled  up with v-power at waitrose, which ive never done,  which actually only had one pump to get it from, making me think turnover is poor.  I had 200 miles of poor driving, reving to leave roundabouts etc. I thought Id been fed normal Shell by mistake, had to check my receipts.   No stalling this time like i get on supermarket fuel but not great either.

You have to basically let the revs rise to 3000 or you get nothing, ver low power.

I temporarily cured this issue by using premium fuel with millers ecomax, but after a slick50 fuel treatment the other week, once it had gone, any fuel is running poorly, more noticeable with supermarket fuel.

I've stuck in £25 of v-power from a known good source, we'll see if things improve but if not is it EGR out time? or something else?

Starts first time every time

Which engine do you have CD or AD? Do you have trafficators on your wing mirrors? If so then you have the AD engine, in that case an egr failure will trigger the MIL and result in default mode running with low power. This sounds like something different. Is there excess smoke from the exhaust?

no excess smoke no.  Runs really fine just low power at low revs

ie. i did a three point turn and it stalled on crap fuel

I can tpull away quickly from junctions/roundabouts, but have to wait for the turbo to kick in

Is there a smell of fumes in the car?

When's the last time the fuel filter was changed? If it's been a while, might be worth checking that; It's a cheap and easy part to replace on D4Ds (Can be messy if you're doing it yourself tho'!)
