Avensis Bluetooth A2DP audio not connecting

Hi

I'm having an issue with my Avensis (2011, 2.0 D4D T4) where the bluetooth A2DP audio feature for streaming music is not connecting to any bluetooth device.

My phone is working right as it connects to other cars and headsets without a problem. I have also tried to connect other phones to my A2DP profile and that's not working either.

bluetooth is working in the car in the sense that I can take calls through Bluetooth.

Anybody have a similar issue and any solutions to an annoying problem?

Thanks

Hi Patrick. You still need to confirm exactly which head unit you have.

Also, has it ever worked & it just stopped/you changed to a new phone & it doesn't on that or has it never worked?

Have you tried deleting & then re-pairing?

Have you checked the Toyota bluetooth compatibility list?

Hi,

What exactly is a head unit and how do I tell the verision/model?

Yes, it worked before without a problem with multiple phones. Now it doesnt appear to work with any.

Thanks

The head unit is the in-car entertainment/info unit. Usually it will have a no. printed on it (often lower right hand). Alternatively post a picture & see if anybody knows which it is. Your manual for it should also tell you.

Have you changed any settings recently or have you recently updated it or the phones' software?
