Hi,

I've recently aquired a '97 (UK) Carina E 1.8 with 39'000 miles.

It appears to have some oil seepage from the oil cooler which judging by the amount of grime on it (and the coolant radiator behind it) has been like this for some time but there are no drips under the car.

Is a repair a possibility or replacement the best option.

Could it in fact be removed and the car run without one? (I'm not into prolonged high speeds!).

Any advice appreciated.
