Engine Lid Cable Catch Snapped.

My m8s just bought a tubby and his cable for his engine lid snapped whats he gotta do to sort this plus is it expensive?

i think Tony4 had a similar issue with his tubby when he got it imported.. i'll give him a shout for ya..

well.. I've had similar problem before, the catch got stuck and need some adjustment.

Provided the link doesn't snap at the catch in the engine bay, you have a big chance to get it open...

ok... here is the step by step guide....

1. open the boot/trunk (if u r american)

2. pull the rubber seal off... (top centre edge of the boot)

3. you then able to see the catch through the gap

4. use metal bar or little plier and pull the wire next to the catch (left side)...

5. keep playing with it.... i may take up to 10mins
