ST185 Radiator Fan

Hello all,

Since last Saturday my radiator fan stopped working. When driving, she is fine, but as soon as I am idling, she will overheat. Now I have been reading back and forth, about testing with bridging connections and checking circuit with multimeters, but my knowledge of electronics is.... non existent. I have a multimeter, I know where the fuse box is. What fuse do I have to check? Is there anyone here who has the patience to write me a small but direct guided tutorial on something like this?

Kind regards,

Red

Sorry I can't help with your particular car's wiring, but...

Generally speaking a fan shouldn't need to kick in much when idling, except on hot days, or after hard driving, or after idling for a long period.  Perhaps look into whether there's a further root problem at the same time.

I got no leaks anywhere on the gasket or such, if that is what you mean.
