Yaris D4D window regulator query

Hi,

My OSF window regulator motor has gone in my MK1 Yaris D4D. I bought a replacement from eBay from a similar 5 door MK1, but the connector is different. Are they different parts for different models or manufacture locations?

Cheers,

Dean

The French made cars are different from the Japan made cars.

The three doors are different from the five doors.

Check the number of pins on the electrical connectors inside the door. the two pin connectors are the early ones - later ones had more connectors.

Your car is a 2002 - French production started Jan 2001. BUT all Mark 1 D4Ds are Japan built. You will probably have a "Made in Japan" sticker on the base of the front windscreen.

Most parts suppliers will not have a clue...

Yes, it's definitely a MIJ model. It seems that I managed to buy a regulator from a French version. That's a bit annoying, but at least I know now. Cheers.
