1ad-ftv and 2ad egr valves

Hi all

The egr valve on my 2007 Avensis 2.0 1ad-ftv engine no longer seals off internally, so I need to source a replacement. My local Toyota dealer has quoted £194 plus vat for a new one, I would like to keep the cost down if possible as I will most likely sell the car towards the end of the year and get a newer Avensis estate, so have also looked at used items for sale. There seem to be a few different part numbers for the valves, some are off 2.0 engines and others off 2.2, but they all look the same.

The part numbers from the one on my car are 25620-0R012 and VN135000-7201 on an orangey brown coloured label. I did a couple of searches on here but couldn't find a thread that covers this.

Does anyone know the differences and if they are interchangeable ? Or if the actual valve part is the same but the electrical side is different ? I am wondering if I could buy one with a different part number and use the valve along with the electrical part from my original valve. I am assuming a used one would be ok as long as it does not have the same problem as my own.

Got a used egr valve from eBay with same part number, works fine.
