Toyota safety sense

Hi everyone,

I drive a 2016 auris business model which has all the bells and whistles etc. Well almost...

Does anyone know if its possible to retrofit Toyota safety sense to this model.

I've already fitted a satnav  module which was very easy to do but can't seem to read much about doing the same for TSS though.

Thanks in advance,

G.

TSS is factory fit only.

Hi,

Cheers for the info.

I wonder if you could educate me on something else.

I'm thinking of changing my auris to a new hybrid of the same spec in the new year.

Will I be to take my satnav module that I fitted myself, out of my current car and fit in the new one as the head unit is the same?

Thanks again for your help.

Yes - the head unit will be common, but the sat nav module won't be covered by the vehicle's new car warranty.

Hi again,

That won't be a problem. It isn't covered by this cars warranty as I fitted it myself subsequent to buying the auris new.

Its good to know it will work though as its the high version and I didn't want to leave it behind.

Thanks again.
