As I said previously the H11's are from the first generation Auris. Grrrr. While booking in my 1.6 petrol (64 reg pre-facelift) for a service at my local Toyota main dealer, I quoted the technical update BE-0058T-0515 to the service manager, and he says he's never heard of any headlamp amendment that relates to my car.

He says he'll get back to me, but all he's offering right now is to check the headlamp alignment. Is he having a larf ?  And do I need to twist his arm - or his neck?

Well that is strange, because, after I had the work done I had a call from the service department asking to confirm the update reference again as they had never heard of it and where did I get the details of the update from. My thoughts are, if they upgraded the headlamps they must know the original fitments were inadequate.
