Hatchback tailgate won't open.

Thanks to various posts on this forum I've been able to 'emergency unlock' the hatch from the inside.

I now want to fix the problem, it won't open from the key remote or the electronic switch on the hatch itself.

Where should I start, does anyone know which fuse controls this circuit? Any help will be appreciated.

Problem fixed now.

The insulation on one of the leads leading from the switch on the tailgate appears to have been pinched at some stage, which has let the copper wires corrode away.

A quick strip back of the insulation and soldering together of clean bare wires and I'm back in business.
