Hopefully should take possession of a 2014 Yaris some time next week, although nearly three years old it has yet to complete 4000 kms.Would it be a good idea to have  full service done by Toyota changing the various oils (cvt model) or am I wasting my money.

Regards.Malcolm

Servicing should be every year or 10,000 miles (the interval on the continent will obviously be in km), whichever occurs first.

By rights it should be due its 3rd service soon. So if it hasn't been serviced since new, yes get it serviced. The remainder of the Toyota new car warranty will probably be void if it hasn't been serviced.
