Yaris Icon Outer wing mirror cover

I have had an altercation with the side of my garage door and ruined my off side outer wing mirror cover and the flasher bulb attached. Is it possible to purchase a replacement from my Toyota dealer rather than the complete wing mirror please?

The mirror cover and flasher unit are available as separate items, and can be bought from your Toyota dealer. The flasher unit is a complete item - one cannot just buy the bulb (or in this case the LED). If your mirror cover is body coloured, you will probably need to have it painted.

The owner's manual for my '14 reg states the DOOR mirror repeater takes an orange, wedge base bulb.

The OP can check with their dealer.

Thank you for your replies. I have ordered an outer offside wing mirror cover which will be delivered tomorrow also the bulb that slots into a socket attached to a cable, total cost £71-10!

Needless to say I shall be a lot more careful when entering and leaving the garage in the future!!!

Be thankful it didn't need a whole new wing mirror - these are over £300!

I nearly ripped off my left wing mirror a while ago, reversing in a car park by a huge pillar. I knew it was tight and could get in if I retracted the mirror first...however I was too busy using the mirror and didn't retract it. It just caught the part of the indicator lens that sticks out the side and duly popped the back off! Amazingly nothing was seriously damaged, but it did break a tag off.

I've done that a couple of times - stick out a long way, don't they?

Yes - it's surprising!

I replaced the outer mirror cover plus a new bulb and the plastic bulb holder cover, £71.62 just for three bits of plastic. Rather expensive I thought. Mine got caught on the garage door whilst reversing out of the garage. Now the mirrors are pulled in before I go in or out!

Cheers
