2017 J D Power Vehicle Dependability Survey

It was pleasing to see that Toyota came 6th out of 26 in the recently published annual JD Power Vehicle Survey. Yes, it would have been better if they had finished higher (Volvo and Kia came joint first). Perhaps surprisingly BMW came last and Audi second from last!

The Toyota Auris came 3rd in the compact car segment but no other Toyotas were in first 3 in the other 5 segments.

While you might wish Toyota had done better you could have done much worse. Imagine if you owned a BMW or an Audi!

Toyota came second in the JD Power customer service index study 2017.

1. Mazda; 2. Toyota; 3. Mini; 4. Hyundai; 5. Honda.

Bear in mind that the 2017 J D Power UK Vehicle Dependability Survey only covers cars registered from Feb 2014. It would be interesting to see the results on e.g. 5 or 7 year old cars ...
