Yaris TR 5dr 1.33 VVT-i Multidrive S

Hi

I bought a second hand 2013 Yaris TR 5dr 1.33 VVT-i Multidrive S. In the multimedia system I can see an option for navigation but when I select that option it is showing System not installed. Is that mean Map not installed? or do I need a separate unit for navigation. If so how much will be the price. which device do I have to look for. Thanks

Sat nav was a separate module that could be installed at additional cost. It isn't just the mapping that isn't there.

Think the multimedia system you have will be the Toyota Touch unit, and the sat nav module will be the 'Go' module.

Different to the system you have pictured.

Be aware that the later Toyota Touch 2 Go module may not be compatible with the earlier Toyota Touch system.

Might be cheaper to replace the complete multimedia unit with a second hand Touch with Go or Touch 2 with Go.

Have you priced the updates for the Touch with Go/Touch 2 with Go - as they may be more expensive than buying a TomTom, Garmin or similar.

Is new system compatible? I mean Touch 2 with go. This one is Touch with go (need module for nav)

You cannot interchange parts from Touch & Touch 2, Touch 2 can be fitted but it requires modifications to make it work.

Fit yes but you need the harness ends/plugs from the the later touch 2 car and then splice them into your earlier cars harness, it is far from a straight swap

Here the picture showing one touch and go without sat nav and another one is touch and go 2 with sat nav .

If I buy the whole unit touch and go 2 which cable do I have to modify?

Thank you for sending me this pdf document. I bought a second hand navigation module and ordered the cable with part number as explained in the pdf manual. Connected the module into the head unit and it is working perfect. Thank you.
