2004 Previa 2.0 d4d manual gearbox driveshaft...Help

Does anyone know if the driveshafts on my previa abs are abs rings or magnetic? I have just had one reconditioned and returned and its not picking up the abs on the drivers side which was replaced. The supplier had fitted a ring which would not fit into the hub with the abs ring on so he recommended taking it off and trying which did fit but the abs sensor is not picking that side up so could do with finding out if the outer cv supplied is wrong because it should fit with an abs ring or wrong because it should be magnetized ? Heeeelp

I know...... you would think a driveshaft re-conditioners would just look at the old one and know its wrong but don't want to be hoodwinked so any info would be great so that I am forearmed.
