Hello fellow Yaris owners,

Having just taken delivery of a new Yaris Icon-Tech with Touch 2 and Go installed I am struggling to alter volumes of the following (my old 2012 yaris was much easier), turning the 2 rotary knobs doesn't seem to have any effects?:

- Level of the speed warnings given by the Satnav.

- Satnav directions voice level.

- Phone calls levels - both incoming, and outgoing for callers (am being told my voice is too low?).

Hi Alf

I don't pick up my Yaris until next week.  However, I have looked through the online manual and found this information:

If it is the same Touch 2 with Go system, running the same system software version as in my new Avensis you can do the last 2 (& I suspect that the speed warning & direction voice level may be linked)  via the menu screens. I will check the exact one to access & post later.

Thanks everyone for responses.............Since posting I have managed to alter the level of the satnav by using the + & - buttons on steering wheel as the voice is sounding (and only during this event). Afterwards the latter controls revert to media adjusting. Not sure about the phone volumes, as don't have many calls anymore being retired, but think I can answer a call using the Enter button on right of wheel, as well as same +/- buttons on left  for call volume (thanks for screen shot of relevant manual page).........

Not having been given the manual for the multimedia part of the Yaris along with the user's manual by my dealer, I have managed to order one from Toyota (not being much for reading on the computer screen and then going to the car to check out what I have just read), so will await its arrival and have a good read up sitting in front of the device, so thanks for the help so far.

Hi again,

Now I have made a call and received a call on my Android 5.0.2 LG G3S phone using my yaris's multimedia system I can report that I cannot use the on-wheel 'Send' button as described - and have to take one hand off the wheel to physically touch the screen to Accept/reject/End a call, unlike my 2012 Yaris which had the On/off hook controls on the wheel.........obviously not ideal, and certainly not an improvement over my old system!?

on page 61 of the multimedia manual to accept/reject the incoming call, nor End any calls...........

so does this mean my phone does not support this ( I have looked up on the Toyota phone compatibility link and found my phone only does not support DUN/PAN connection whatever that is? )

Here is a screenshot of my phone's Connected services compatibility (shouldn't think this means cannot use the Send button as reported in the manual though?

Anyone anymore thoughts/suggestions before I go back to my dealer?

Having had the same problem with the phone call volumes, I have just managed to adjust the volume settings:

Step 1:  Ensure that you have your phone in the car with you when doing this:

Step 2: Go to Set Up (2nd button down on the right hand side of the screen)

Step 3: Click on General

Step 4: Choose Volume Settings

Step 5:  Adjust Phone volume - incoming and Adjust Phone volume - outgoing

Step 6:  Make a phone call to test the settings

Thanks everyone..... found these volume settings mentioned - was set at 10 which looked like halfway, so should have been okay? Turned outgoing vol up 3 notches and will test out.
