Hi all,

I am new to this forum and would like to ask following. I have Toyota Avensis T27 1.6 D-4D Executive for 3 months now (model from 9/2015, the last model with manual gearbox).

The issue I see is with the sound&feel of the gearbox. The sound during shifting is quite loud and "plastic", shifting is not as smooth as desired and the feel is "crunching". No real enjoyment. One would expect that this class of the car offers a bit more regarding shifting experience.

Otherwise I am very satisfied with other properties of the car.

Any similar issues? Any solutions for this? I was at Toyota dealer and they told me "this is normal". I was not really sattisfied with the explanation.

The car is still unter Toyota factory warranty, since it is only 2 years old.
