Hi all

i have a corolla e12 and my brake light fuse keeps blowing one after another, ive tried different fuses, different bulbs, checked the wiring for shorts and cant find anything

i can change the fuse and most times it will blow but other times it will work while im testing them but after any journey im back to square one again

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

The Bulb  link you give just shows a general bulb site.

Have you checked the High Mounted stop light , if fitted ?  If a hatch it could be a partial short in the wiring due to the moving cable .

Have you measured the current though each bulb/line individually ?

The actual stop switch could be shorting / bad contacts.

What happens if  you leave one bulb out in turn, does it still blow the 15A STOP  fuse ?

Any other works done of the wiring / rear end recently ?

No I havent measured anything yet

Ill try leaving a bulb out in a while 

Seems to be ok this morning after I checked the wires going to the top mounted light
