24hr Clock?

I don't think it's possible on the Mk 3 Yaris Mick. I hope someone will prove me wrong.

The manual only shows setting hours and minutes using the two push buttons. Whether it may be achived in the settings I don't know but I 've certainly never seen anything relating to the clock in the menu. It seems to be a very strange omission to me, doesn't show a.m. or p.m. either.

I hope someone will prove me wrong as well .............  as you too.

Two push buttons only, and the handbook says nothing of any interest at all in this department. I was just thinking that there could be a hidden menu somewhere.  I have read on this forum somewhere that you can do something with the ignition and the buttons simultaneously but I'm not sure it has anything to do with a 2104 Yaris Hybrid.

12hr clock without AM or PM seems very strange indeed to me.  24hr would be perfect, just like other cars I've owned ........... and clocks domestically.

Thanks,

Mick.

I agree 100% Mick. I prefer the 24h format and the very least I too would have expected is a.m or p.m on the clock display. It can't be that difficult or even any more expensive when designing the cluster. So I can't see it as being a cost cutting excercise?

However, most should know whether it's before or after noon!

I was thinking earlier, that maybe the Toyota dealer has some software update or something?

No doubt they can do all sorts of things via the OBD socket below the steering wheel and changing the preferences of the display could well be one of them.

Mick.

The 24 hour time format is only available with km distance setting!!

We imperialists are stuck with the 12 hour time format.

At least it doesn't show AM/PM so it's bearable.
