Hi Robin,

I think you must remove the front bumper...

Instructions: https://www.toyota-tech.eu/aimuploads/357ea1d9-24e8-4709-9fc9-4628d2619b11/Auris_TPA front_RHD_PW501-05100_AIM 003 501-3.pdf

The Battery is in the rigth side of the trunk, under the floor.

Best regards

that tag does go straight to the Battery but its use is for getting your car started if it has a flat Battery.

You have a permanent plus there, not fused; use a flat terminal connector, 6mm.

Hi,

I have the same problem, have you found  the wire which can be use for the relay? For the power, that black connection in fuse box can be used for 12 v output, but the high beam relay is the main thing.

there is no clever way to take the power from the high beam

i would go to the back of the head light and tap into the

high beam wire there

That wouldn't work, there is only on/off on the lamp itself.
The headlight is adjusted with the help of a lens or reflector that travels back and forth depending on whether it is half or full beam.

((( Im not 100% sure but...)))

I did connected my ledbar to the fog light.
So now I just use fog lights as full beam

From Finland here... Uleåborg. DM me via Instagram: @jussivaa ✌️

These three black and white wires provide power when the high beam is on. Is this a possible place.
This connector is under the front light.

The high beam wire that people want to tap in to can be done at the fusebox itself (engine bay) using a fuse tap or fuse adapter. In the petrol 1.2 T Auris the fuse is labelled 35 (right high beam) and 36 (left high beam). For the hybrid Auris it is a different number. Check your fuse box diagram.

Akkis,

I thought of using a fuse tap at the fusebox but unfortunately the fuse to high beam is placed too close to the edge of the box making it impossible to connect a micro fuse tap. As I understand that the middle red wire in the lamp plug above is the wire to the high beam shutter. Is that correct and how is it working for you? Do you have a hybrid or just petrol Auris? Grateful for reply.

Hello!

My Prius Plus has a fusebox looking like this. Is it possible to connect 12v here somewhere?

Thankful for all answers! 🙂

Are you doing offroad with an Auris? it does not make sense and probably will give you more trouble than help.  LED bar are very ilegal in most EU countries.  Even it is low wattage and may not blind people because it is pretty low.  Our car already have DRL and that is already blinding enough in the dusk or dawn.  If you want to improve the drivability, get a better HIR2 bulbs instead.
