I'm told I need one and it will cost $1200. Is this for real? And do I have any other options but the $1200 one? Thanks

After a very small amount of research I have found other cat converters for less than $150. And Toyota tells me theirs will cost me $1050. How can this be? Obviously the choice is clear.

Did you try a breakers yard, maybe theirs a cat on a smashed celica.

Or even go for a cat replacment pipe, probably less that 80 quid for one or have one made up at a local garage!
