Doesn't blue smoke indicate problem with turbo?

not sure but it happens sometimes just after the car warms up then that's it until next time I start it from cold have you got the same car as me ?

Most likely causes:

Leaking injector, this drips fuel into the engine after shut down which then burns off at start up ( either 1 of the 4 engine or the 5th exhaust injector ) - have the injectors removed and tested by a Diesel specialist.

Leaking Turbocharger, oil seeping past seals in the Turbo which burns off after startup - have the turbo inspected for obvious leaks ( some oil is ok ) check for free play in compressor shaft

Leaking valve stem oil seals, rare never seen it on an AD diesel engine - if not the above you could try seal conditioner in the engine oil as a temporary solution if it stops after using the conditioner then a cylinder head rebuild is required to fix permanently.
