Hello, My first post here so please be gentle,

I'm desperately trying to find a replacement sunroof seal for my OEM sliding roof. The roof does not yet leak, but if I don't sort it out asap I know it will by the end of winter, but without being able to source a rubber seal replacement I can't do the work. It's my daily and I don't have a garage so I have no where to leave it while I find one.

So I know that I can't buy one from Toyota, but does anyone know of other sunroof seals that are a close fit? Is there anyone who make's rubber seals for vintage cars when the original seals aren't manufactured anymore? I'll try anything here. I'm hitting Australian eBay regularly as I know they're more common out there, also the Philippines. So any wild suggestions are welcome. This is the original sunroof and I don't want to replace it with an after market one.

Hope someone can help,

Thanks

Billie

As mentioned by FordUlike in a recent post you could try this rubber dressing for door seals that might give your roof seal a better chance of lasting longer ..

I've been looking for a new door seal, as a new one from Mr T is £112  !!  but nothing like them at all, though plenty of seals of you just look for 'car door seals' on that same site.
