I hope this doesn't sound too disrespectful or controversial, but i believe that the For Sale section should be open to those who are just basic members.

When i joined and was looking for a car, i was glued to that section every day, looking for one. i'm in the same position now, and currently look very often, for my ideal car, or even just for a simple runaround. The For Sale section used to contain many cars, but recently i've found myself looking at other forums a lot more to see what their users have to offer for sale.

I've often thought 'if only' to many of the cars that were put up, and i think that if someone buys the car, then they'll stay on this site as a member. A common theme was to advertise before the car goes in the autotrader or on ebay, which gives a user of this site a bigger incentive to Go Gold (definitely worth it by the way! B) )

I agree with the fact that people should not be allowed to simply join up and post something for sale, maybe an initial 20 posts or thereabouts to reveal their true intentions? Also just keep to cars, not nokia 6310's, or ford escorts. :)

I'm sure this would generate even more interest in the club?

Cheers!

Exactly my feelings too

what sorta MR2 are you looking for :bookworm:

Rhaines - still looking for one - thanks for the pointer. Unfortunately I saw the details of this one and it was more money than I am looking to spend.
