I will be the new owner of a 2005 1.8 Avensis T3-X later this week.  Bought it from Western Toyota in Edinburgh as one of their Smart Money cars.  Never had a Toyota before so lots to learn but it seems to be a lovely car.  Apologies in advance if I ask too many stupid questions 😊

Keep an eye on the oil levels, pre 2006 models can be prone to high oil usage.  Plenty around without the problem too, of course.

Thanks, I had read that in a few places.  Its had all the recall work done, been checked by Toyota, but will keep an eye on it.  What grade of oil is right ?
