Turbo Probs (i Think)

Hi all can anyone help me,i found oil on my turbo where the intercooler hose is connected to the turbo,i checked to make sure it was tight and it is also its been burning oil and i have some power loss,does anyone know what this prob is,any help would be great

Could well be the seals on the turbo. Best to get it checked early. CHeaper to replace seals than a new shaft or impellors.

hello there

not always the turbo had same prob as long as you have no white smoke from exhaust then its not the turbo. on mine i found it to be short journeys to be the prob the engine breather plums into the turbo intake and only doing short stop start causes foaming of oil give it a good run every once in a while and change oil every 3000 miles as stated in manual and prob should go away. the power loss could be another thing.
