57 Plate Aygo fault , loosing power

Hi , I am looking to buy a 57 plate Aygo 1.0 petrol with a fault where it looses power, its high mileage done 170k

Any thoughts, I am thinking spark plugs , ignition problem ????

The first thing I would be looking for is a failing/failed coil pack. As they only have three cylinders in the first place, they run like a bag of spanners on only two.
