corolla 2002 rear brake shoes failure

Hi,

As per the title, my rear brake shoes and fixtures have failed and fallen apart. Could someone send me a picture of what it should look like please?

It is a 2002 corolla hatchback with rear calipers not drums brakes. Brake shoes are in a drum though.

Hi,

Best thing to do is get the Haynes service manual* ( Halfords etc or online) which has plenty of pics and text on servicing everything including the rear hand brake shoes ; eg securing clips and pins, springs , shoe adjuster , cable lever and cable adjustment.

* check which 2002 model and engine you have as there is a  To 2002 manual  and a From 2002 manual and they only cover certain  engines  - see  -
