allrate got a red car gunna get red foootwell neons so i wanna change ma dash lights to red an maybe the dials to white, but i wundered if ne1 else had dun this an if so where can i get led lens covers frm? an wot size wud i need etc?

Someone told me that if you put white dials in there's a disadvantage with the insurance, i can't remember who told me that... i think it was Barnsley-SR...

so basically as a summary ill need to....

Replace the bulbs in my dials wiv sidelight ones an paint them red

And takke out the centre heater bit an switch em to red

what about the ones on ur right...headlight adjust an fogs??

so how many sidelight bulbs will i need to change my dash to blue cus i see only ur middle clock is blue how many do i need to do my full dash???, am i best buyin em painted?... cheers.

Erm... that's all the info i know that everyone has post on here, dunno if anyone has bothered doing it cos it sounds tricky... but i guess you gotta wait for some answers..... sorry guys i couldnt help you there.

Right then. I have replaced my bulbs in my dash board. Here is a link to the 501 bulbs you lot will need to replace yours bulbs.

There are fours bulbs behind the dials altogether.I took my end dials off completely. REMEBER TO MARK WHERE THE NEEDLE WAS WHEN YOU PULL IT OFF. Dont use painted bulbs cos they just dont work.You will need a really tiny screw driver for the screws on the dials. Put tin foil on the back of the plastic which faces the bulbs because it reflects the light.I did mine all blue.

As for the center console lights i could not find the swicth.Hope this helps

yeah there just sidelights pick em up from anywhere how the hell will i able mark the needle..... :) bit of a dumb question but does that mean ill after leave ikkle mark on my petrol dial..., 2 sets of sidelight bulbs n im away then :) just buy three as im goin change my sidelights well im at it :)

I aint shelly. as normal lol.I aint sure maybe mark the placement of the needle with a tiny bit of masking tape.

im sorry to soudn stupid but im jus about to do this but first of all i cant find ne 501 red bulbs anddddd....

That company link on eBay should sell red 501. Marking the needle needs to be done because when you go to put the needle back on how do you know it where you pulled it from???i did'nt mark mine and it took me ages to find out where it was. My temp was over the red line when i first went out and i had no petrol!!!!but i remembered i had half a tank in there so its all good now.

Another thing while im at it....if u dint find the switch on the centre console did u replace the leds or woteva is in em? an the same wiv the fog light an headlight adjusters etc

i aint toched the fog or headlight adjuster at all. plus i aint toched the center console. just left it as it was
