2010 Toyota Avensis Automatic transmission problems

I am a owner of a 2010 Toyota Avensis, right after having my driver shaft changed, after shifting to the reverse shift car won't move, my mechanic got it fixed after some weeks, early in the morning when I shift to the drive mode car won't move unless the accelerator is pressed on for sometime, then the car moves. This situation happens only in the morning when the car is cooled off. However it works perfectly in the morning after a long trip, probably the car is not cooled off... Aside that all other modes work perfectly .Any help please
