Stone Chip in Pan Roof

Hi,

I have found a stone chip in the roof, and wondering if it can be repaired the same way as a windshield?

Think they can be repaired in the same way as windscreens. Check the glass repair section of your insurance policy covers glass roofs - not all do.

Mine seems to cover it : "If shown on your schedule, we’ll cover damage to the windscreen or window glass including sun-roofs and any resultant scratching of the bodywork. "

I'll check my insurance, but even if I have to pay for it, it will still be cheaper than a new roof!!!!!

I just don't want it cracking before I get it fixed, especially as the cold weather is here...
