HI sorry new to the rave 4 but has a 2011 2.2 D-4D XT-R  got a dpf filter fitted and also chain or cambelt.

It will definitely have a chain.

As far as DPF from what I can see there was both a 2.2 D4D & a 2.2 D-CAT D4D - the D-CAT definitely will have a DPF (in fact a Toyota DPNR system), the standard D4D I am not sure about. On the Avensis the standard D4D gained a DPF with the late (~September build >) 2011 facelift to meet Euro V. if your car is Euro V compliant or the manual says it requires C2 grade oil it has a DPF.
