Hi guys,

I'm back after getting rid of the shed of a Celica I had, went through a couple of MX5's, an Octavia, and now have an '05 T-Sport again, and an E30... :P

My T-Sport has a DET3 installed, I was wondering if anyone could walk me through the process of setting up launch control? I have zero experience with these units. If there is a guide which will help me, a link to that would be greatly appreciated too!

It would be great to get it set up in time for a Pod RWYB in February. I was thinking of wiring it to a toggle switch if that helps?

Many thanks!

I've read through this: http://ecumasterusa.com/downloads/Digital ECU Tuner III - FIT Manual English.pdf

But I'm not clear on what some of the settings do, or what they should be set to.

Parameters:

Activation input – what input used for activating the launch control function. For extra analog input table switch input must be configured as “Use as launch control”

Activation. RPM – engine speed which the ignition retardation and the fuel mixture enrichment takes place

Cut off RPM – engine speed when the ignition will be cut off,

Ignition r3tard – ignition r3tard angle during the staring procedure

Fuel Enrichment – value added to the current Analog Out value.

Enable VSS control – enable vehicle speed sensor (VSS) control over launch control

VSS Limit – frequency (in Hz) of Frequency In input, above launch control function will be automatically turned off

lolacme. I've not seen many posts on here regarding the DET3 - just one infact. Corolla forum is mostly dead too, with the exception of 3-4 people. Might be better off trying a US or Eastern European version of a similiar forum, seem to be more common over there.

Well hello there stranger! :P

I've posted on Corolla owners club too, no response. Will try a US forum, since they have the XRS which is the same thing in saloon form.
