Where is the access hole in the firewall?

I am going to install a cabin heater but can not find the access hole in the firewall.

Can someone please tell me the location of the access hole in the firewall for an Yaris Hybrid 2017?

Thank you in the advance.

Hi, if you're trying to 'hard wire' it, use the fuse panel behind left hand side glove box. Find a 20 (min) amp fuse ( Aux Socket), and use a 'Piggy back' connection. You're better using the Aux socket itself then you won't have any warranty problems.

Bomber209: Thank you for the reply.

Clarification: I am going to install a cabin heater in the car. I need  to get a cable inside the car (from the front passenger seat) through the firewall to the front of the car.

Thank you in advance.

Out of curiosity more than anything, I've tried to locate that grommet, in the engine compartment of my car. Unless it's hidden behind something, I can't find it!

Thank you so much!! I think this guide is going to help me.

I will follow the guide and try to install the cabin heater when I get back from business trip this weekend.

Thank you!!

What kind of cabin heater are you fitting?

It is a Defa 2100. I need to get the power cable in to the car.

What is the connection to AC power, is it just a dangling cable and connector?

Also, how about cabling in via the rear of the car - might be easier?

What I like from the next Yaris Hybrid is a 1kWh lithium Battery to give around 5 miles full electric mode and also have home charging so pre-heating would be implicit.

Sorry for the late update.

I finally installed the cable for the cabin heater. I drilled a hole through the firewall for the cable. I did not want to disamble the wiper as the guide suggested.

The power supply at the parkings are usually in the front so I did not want the cable via the rear of the car.

The connection to the AC power is a connector:

Happy new year!
