I am hoping that someone can help me with my Townace. For some reason, recently, the windscreen washer on my Townace ceased to work. I have tried as best as I can to see if there is anything obvious wrong, but to no avail.

The washer bottle is at the back of the vehicle and also provides the fluid for the rear washer. This works fine and appears to have plenty of pressure. When the front washer button is used though, the pump ( I don't know whether it is the same one as the back one or not) seems to operate normally. Is there another pump at the front to act as a booster, or not?

When I operate the front washer, the wipers work as normal and as I said before, I can hear the pump working. All that comes out of the nozzles though is a very slight (and I mean very slight) dribble.

If anyone has any idea how the system works or even better, a system diagram and also knows how and where the pipes are routed, it would be very much appreciated if you could e-mail me with the details. The best would be hough, if you could tell me exactly what was wrong.

Many thanks.

Does the water come flying out when you take the hose from the washer itself ?The pumps still make a noise even though they are dead . find the pumps and try swapping them or just get a new 1 for the front.
